Absolutely, all are welcome to join us. St. Luke is a beautiful church and it will be filled with many friendly faces.
When we send out RSVPs, we will note in your RSVP if you have been provided a plus one.
No, children are not invited. While we love everyone’s kids, we want to celebrate with all of YOU (our closest friends and family) and space and venue restrictions limit our capacity.
Yes! There will be passed hors d'oeuvres.
Yes! Please enjoy responsibly.
Yes and we highly encourage it! The Morton Arboretum opens at 9am and is available to any of our guests from 9am-midnight on August 16, 2025 so please feel free to enjoy at any point in the day-just let the gatehouse attendant know you are there for the Dayton-Pohlman wedding and you will be admitted for free (parking included).
The ceremony at St. Luke is inside for all portions of the ceremony. The cocktail hour and reception are all inside with air conditioning, although there is additional space adjacent to the reception room outside with tables for anyone to enjoy if we get lucky with the weather!
Notorious for their early bedtimes, Nicole and Rory will be concluding the night with you all at 11:45 for the “last dance.”
Please refrain from taking photos during the wedding ceremony. Feel free to take them at the reception. We do have a professional photographer for the entirety of the event.
No to both. Rory and Nicole will be in the lobby of the hotel (Hyatt Regency Lisle) starting at 9am on August 17th, 2025 to say farewell to anyone who would like to drop by!
